Multi-Grammy-winning producer RedOne is one of the hottest producers in popular music today. RedOne was named both “Producer Of The Year” and “#1 Songwriter” by Billboard Magazine. Along with other international awards and accolades, he also picked up three Grammy Awards for Best Dance Recording (“Poker Face” – Lady Gaga), Best Electronic/Dance Album (The Fame - Lady Gaga) and Best Pop/Vocal Album (The Fame Monster – Lady Gaga).
RedOne’s success with Lady Gaga only solidified his presence as a powerhouse producer for many artists in many different genres of pop music. His work has earned more than 55 international hit singles in the past three years, including 28 (and counting) #1 singles. His visionary music has boasted hit singles with artists including Nicki Minaj, Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Usher, Quincy Jones, Enrique Iglesias, Nicole Scherzinger, Mary J Blige, Alexandra Burke, Mohombi, Cheb Khaled, Maylene Farmer, to name a few!
In 2010, RedOne established his own record label, 2101 Records, a joint venture with Universal Music with Swedish-Congolese artist Mohombi and Rock/Pop-fusion artist Porcelain Black among the first talents signed. The successful label now boats record breaking artists like international superstar Priyanka Chopra, Australian Singer/DJ Havana Brown, pop music group Talkback, rock/hip hop group 7Lions.
He has also contributed his time and talent to several charity recordings including producing (with Quincy Jones) “We Are The World 25 for Haiti” and “Bokra” and recording “Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door” with his brother, Nabil Khayat, for Chimes of Freedom - a celebratory tribute to 50 years of Bob Dylan and Amnesty International.
In addition to RedOne’s music successes, he is also focusing his efforts on his 2101 Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to helping youth with big dreams and to inspire and motivate young people to pursue their passion in life through sports, music, arts and education.
